Windswept Washington Tree

This 8″x10″ mosaic is an adaptation of a photo I took in Skagit County in Washington.  Just to the right of this tree is a big cliff that drops off into the ocean where just seconds after taking this photo, I saw a porpoise swimming around in the water.  I loved it then because it reminded me of “home” and the windswept trees of Northern Ontario, and I love it now because it reminds me of our time in Seattle.

The tree is gently emphasized with the use of iridescent green glass.
